    3. I started your book last night and I’m loving it so far. I’m intrigued by the characters and already hate Dr. Alison.

You're totally going to laugh at me though, because I'm kind of a Trekky ("kind of" is putting it mildly). The Voyager reference in chapter 2 is inaccurate. Mark was Janeway's fiancé not husband when she got flung into the Delta Quadrant.

I don't know if you did that on purpose or not. If you did, it's very clever because those little subtle mistakes show that Mira and Geery aren't perfect in all their little earthling facts as they think they are. :)
Can't wait to see what happens.

    4. That is so funny! My husband is the Trekky in our family, though I admit I'm pretty close myself. Yes that was slipped in there. They don't have fiancee's on their world. They just meet, go through a (physical) linking process, and then they're mates. So I debated over whether to use the term fiancee (which Mira especially wouldn't understand), linkmate (which would be impossible for humans) or husband, which is the term Mira would know. I did play with having Geery correct her but it ruined the flow of the conversation. And yes, I tried to imagine watching all of our media while coming from a completely different society. Thanks for noticing - I wonder how many will! =) Glad you're enjoying it!

    5. See, I totally knew you did it on purpose. I couldn’t imagine that something so simple would slip by you. No wonder your characters are so interesting, you’ve thought of everything from their perspective.

Physical linking process? Linkmates? I'm intrigued...

    6. I finished it last night!!! It was really good. I can't believe how creepy Everett was. Yuck! I had a hard time putting it down after the party scene. Good grief, gives me the shivers just thinking about him. Loved the sweet romance. Loved all the new experiences Mira had and felt like I was there with her experiencing them all for the first time. Great book!
